a marine shingler, was employed for 61.5 days on public works between May and September 1788.
As this was not part of his normal duty, he was compensated by the Government. He settled at
Norfolk Island in 1792, but abandoned his ground after 8 months. Allowed to return to Port
Jackson he was tried for theft.
