was tried at Abingdon in 1783 for stealing sheepskins and sentenced to 7 years'
transportation. He arrived on the Alexander and later received a grant of 10 acres at
Grenville Vale, Norfolk Island. By 1796 he was supplying the Government with pork. In 1813
he was evacuated to the Derwent, and 5 years later was living in Hobart. Copyright
